LIGHT BOUNCE

Place mirrors inside the grid to guide the beam of light
so it hits every target. You have a limited number of mirrors.
No time pressure — score is based on how few attempts you need.

How to Play
keyboard_arrow_down
1. A beam of light enters the grid from a glowing arrow on the edge.
2. Tap cells to place mirrors (/ or \) that redirect the beam through every teal star.
3. Use as few attempts as possible — score is based on accuracy, not speed.

Expert Tips
Trace backwards: Start from the last star and work back to the entry point to plan mirror placement.
Cycle carefully: Tapping a cell cycles through / mirror, \ mirror, and empty — don't overshoot.

Light Bounce

Goal

Place mirrors on a grid to redirect a beam of light through every teal star target. Solve all 15 puzzles with as few wrong attempts as possible.

Mirrors

Tap any empty cell to place a / mirror. Tap again to switch to a \ mirror. Tap a third time to remove it. The beam bounces off mirrors at 90°.

Scoring

Each puzzle starts at 500 points. You lose 30 pts per wrong attempt and 60 pts per hint used. Solve cleanly to maximise your score.

Tips

  • Mentally trace the beam path before placing any mirrors.
  • Work backwards from the last star to the entry point.
  • Use hints only when truly stuck — they cost double a wrong attempt.

Why this sharpens your mind

Spatial Reasoning

Mentally rotating and reflecting beam paths builds the same spatial skills used in engineering, navigation, and 3D problem-solving.

Planning Ahead

Each mirror placement affects all subsequent beam angles — training multi-step forward planning and consequence evaluation.
